Cindi Pohl is an Account Manager with Waste Management of Canada for North Central B.C. She has been at Waste Management for over 15 years, 9 of them in Prince George. Cindi helps customers build more sustainable practices for their waste and recycling. Her past work experience includes more than 25 years of sales, customer service, training and management.
Cindi Pohl has been a director on the BC Chamber Board since 2017. She served on the Prince George Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors from 2010 to 2018. Her roles included, director, Vice President, President and Immediate Past President and chaired 2 committees. She also sits on both Downtown Prince George (business improvement organization) and PG Air Improvement Roundtable representing the Chamber. She has chaired the PG Montessori Education Society since 2012 and is a Director on the Northern BC Wine Festival Society.
Cindi’s formal education is in fine arts (BFA from York University) and has a Post Graduate Certificate in Secondary Education from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, UK. She has been married to James for the past 15 years and has a 13 year old daughter named Zoe.
