Karen Hawes is senior vice-president, culture and technology for Interior Savings Credit Union, responsible for 22 multi-community locations throughout the Interior, including Kamloops, South Okanagan, Merritt and the North Thompson region.
Karen's 27-year career in the financial industry has been in a wide range of positions within the financial industry. Throughout the years, she has developed a passion and focus for small businesses. Karen spent six years on her local Chamber board. For two of those years, Karen held the position of president of the Kelowna Chamber, the largest Chamber in the B.C. Interior.
She joined the BC Chamber Board in 2014 and serves on the Succession Planning Committee.
Karen is based in Kelowna and represents the Okanagan Shuswap region for the BC Chamber Board.
