BC Chamber applauds the return of the Surrey Board of Trade to the BC Chamber Network

Vancouver, December 2, 2015 – The BC Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the Surrey Board of Trade has rejoined B.C.’s chamber network. 

“We applaud this important decision by the Surrey Board of Trade, as one of the largest business organizations in B.C., their presence in B.C.’s chamber network creates a strong unified voice advocating at all levels of government as the Voice of Business in B.C.,” said Jon Garson, President and CEO of the BC Chamber of Commerce. “The chamber network as a whole celebrates this announcement.”

Garson added, The Surrey Board of Trade is an innovative public policy generator, they are a leading voice for business in Surrey, by rejoining the BC Chamber of Commerce we align our advocacy efforts to improve the economy and quality of life in Surrey and all of B.C.

“The goal is to ensure that on many important issues relevant to Surrey, that we can speak together as partners to ensure that Surrey remains a key strategic economic priority to various stakeholders,” said Anita Huberman, CEO of the Surrey Board of Trade.
