BC Chamber kicks off banner policy year and unveils new brand at 65th AGM & Conference
The BC Chamber of Commerce is putting on a fresh face for its 65th Annual General Meeting & Conference where it will reveal its new brand, and a new vision focused on growing the people who power BC.
This is a banner year for the BC Chamber, with Chambers from across the province putting forward a total of 64 policies for review. Policies submitted to the floor are rigorously debated and discussed by Chamber executives representing every nook and cranny of BC, and must receive support from at least two-thirds of the membership to be voted into force. Policy sessions take place on Friday May 26 and Saturday May 27 beginning at 2:15pm.
The Conference will also feature a wide spectrum of notable speakers. Our first day of Conference on Friday May 26th kicks off with a day-long celebration of women mentors, thought-leaders and entrepreneurs who are all powering B.C.’s economy. We’re also bringing back the Cutting Edge of the Ledge – BC Chamber style – with Bill Good, Keith Baldrey, Vaughn Palmer and the welcome addition of Justine Hunter.
Please contact Neha Prihar at firstname.lastname@example.org to receive full program details. Please note that no broadcast equipment is allowed in Policy Session I and Policy Session II. Only recorders used for note-taking purposes will be allowed in these two sessions.
