Chamber Programs & Services

The BC Chamber offers a variety of programs and services to strengthen our member Chambers and Boards of Trade as individual organizations, and our provincial network as a whole. Our programs target a variety of areas, including training and capacity building for both Chamber staff and boards, creating opportunities for peer-to-peer support and expertise sharing, and enhancement of the Chamber of Commerce brand throughout British Columbia.

The BC Chamber's Sales & Marketing Webinars provide tools and strategies for Chambers and Boards of Trade on how to strengthen membership by promoting BC Chamber benefits.

ChamberLink is a highly-valued communications tool that allows Chamber and Board of Trade managers to canvass and share expertise and best practices with their peers across B.C.

Accreditation is a formal acknowledgement that member Chambers/Boards of trade have been successfully evaluated by the Chamber Accreditation Council of Canada against rigorous national standards.

Chamber of Commerce Week, celebrated annually during the third week in February, recognizes the outstanding contributions that Chambers and Boards of Trade make to communities right across B.C.

In response to many requests from our Chamber membership for guidance on matters of compensation and benefit programs for Chamber managers and staff, the BC Chamber conducts a confidential salary and benefits survey every two years.

The BC Chamber John R. Winter Bursary (formerly the Governors' Bursary) is designed to help a small Chamber with very limited financial resources in sending a director to the BC Chamber AGM & Conference, to learn more about the BC Chamber and to participate in the policy process.
