The Sharing Economy

The sharing economy brings exciting new business models to the province, however Chambers are urging measures to ensure a level playing field for existing B.C. businesses.

In 2016, the BC Chamber’s province-wide membership passed two policies on the sharing economy – one dealing with short-term rentals such as Airbnb and one dealing with ridesharing operations such as Uber.
